试论《资治通鉴》编撰的成功及其原因

摘要

《资治通鉴》有六项优点、两大特点。其成功编撰的客观原因：百年太平;两位皇帝支持;丰富的官私文献;时间充裕;先贤名著的影响。其成功的主观原因：司马光极具文献编撰才能与素养;同修与校对都是硕学宏儒;编撰部署周密。

Abstract

Zizhi Tongjian has six advantages and two characteristics. The objective reasons of its successful compilation are that the country was at peace for one hundred years, the support from two emperors, rich official and private documents, enough time and the influence of ancient classics. The subjective reasons are that SIMA Guang had great literature compilation talent and accomplishment, the fellow compilers and proofreaders were great learned and eminent persons, full preparations for the compilation.
